Stacie Graber
For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for storytelling, costumes, and drama, but it was hard for my parents to find Christian drama that wasn’t just a VBS skit or short comedy. There seemed to be no quality Christian drama for kids. After giving my life to the Lord when I was 13, God gave me a deeper love for using my interests to glorify Him and impact the lives of others. I also became more and more convicted that I shouldn’t just complain about the content of America’s film and drama industry; I could be a part of the solution.
Returning home from college in 2006, I started directing plays for children. At our first summer drama camp the following year, a friend asked me how the camp was going. I replied, “Can I do this for a living?!” Little did I know that was exactly what God had in mind. Making movies started in 2009 with “Bessie” and the Lord has continued to bless and increase our ministry. God’s will is always blessed with God’s provision. To Him be the glory!
Timothy Jones
Howdy, My name is Timothy Jones; I’m 18 and I live in Bryan Tx. I am a DP and hope to do that professionally one day.
God has provided opportunities to work on several film sets including Creed of Gold (creedofgold.com) with Crystal Creek Media. Filmed in Indianapolis, I was in charge of the behind the scenes video and Steadicam Operator. Fall of 2010 I worked on Advent Film Group’s latest production Alone, Yet Not Alone as Video Assist. Summer 2011 I was co-Director of Photography for Indescribable. With Morning Star Productions, I have worked as the Director of Photography and Camera Operator for our major films: Bessie, The Door Backwards (Zack Lawrence) and VCLI’s SALT curriculum. I am also coming up on my 4th year as a camera operator for our church’s TV broadcast. Our mission is to make God-glorifying films and teach young filmmakers how to be both professional and God-honoring as we make movies.
Our Goal:
To incorporate God’s Truth into presentations designed to inspire, educate, encourage and disciple believers to confront the culture, and to challenge and correct the evil of our day.
Our Values:
Glorifying God – Presenting a Biblical worldview.
Redemption – Realizing God’s original purpose for art and reclaiming it for His glory.
Do Hard Things – Step outside your comfort zone to follow wherever He leads.
Purity – Reflecting God’s values.
Teamwork – God has given the body of Christ various gifts that each member may serve accordingly, so that together, we can complete tasks greater than our individual accomplishments.
Excellence – Give God your best, your very best.
