With nearly 100 people attending from as far as Houston, Austin and the areas sounding Bryan and College Station, the 2011 Young Christian Filmmakers Festival was an exciting event. Of the 18 films shown this year, I was encouraged by a marked improvement in quality and Christian message. From the serious drama of “Jacob’s Story” to the creative and hilarious “Obsession”, the audience enjoyed a full range of stories, parables, and proverbs brought to life through the medium of film.
TEAMVision group – FFA team won a special award for cinematic quality.
Festival Grand prize winners – “Obsession” – $100 cash prize!
During TEAMVision this week, we learned about lighting and audio work while the teams have started work on their final project for the Young Christian Filmmaker’s Festival.
