In 2011 – 2012, Thorn Crown Project produced a feature length (90 min) film entitled Indescribable, based on the historical events surrounding the writing of the hymn, The Love of God. It tells the story of Blynn, an adventurous boy determined to help his family face the struggles brought about by WWI, and his journey to discover what it means to truly love God. Our goal is to use this film to teach children the rich history of the Church by portraying the faith and courage of past Christians.
Making a feature film is a step of faith as well as a massive undertaking. We are excited to see what doors the Lord will open in the coming months, and are praying that God will use this movie to further His kingdom. We would also like to use this film as an opportunity for young filmmakers to learn new skills and gain experience through our intern program. We are looking for Christian filmmakers of all ages to join the adventure. You can partner with us by:
